Value proposition

With this plan we give the agency and corporate client the option to offset the CO2 generated on their business flights. For every ton that the client offsets, we will offset an additional ton to a selected project.

The 1+1 Offset to Conserve Program has been developed together with Chooose, an expert provider of climate change solutions. Chooose supports us with the platform to deliver monthly emissions to the client, show the available projects and make the offsets.

All travel agencies and companies, regardless of their category, will have the option of offsetting the carbon footprint emitted by their corporate flights through this service.

Upon completion of the compensation, the client will be able to download a certificate accrediting his contribution.

We currently have three projects available, all of which are part of the Chooose platform:

Community Forest Management Nii Kaniti Perú, Ucayali:

This project counteracts local deforestation and forest degradation by supporting socially inclusive enterprises, appropriate use of communal lands and training in natural resource management.

This initiative significantly reduces global emissions by protecting the rainforest ecosystem and expanding sustainable community forest management.

Cururos Wind Farm, Chile, municipality of Ovalle:

The Cururos Wind Farm project includes two wind farms called El Pacifico and La Cebada, which have a total installed capacity of 109.6 MW and an average generation of 290 GWh per year. Advantages:

• Avoids about 173,819 tons of CO2 per year.
• Local employment generation.
• Contributes to sustainable development.

CO2Bio Project, Colombia:

This is a clustered project that prevents deforestation, forest degradation and the transformation of wetlands in the plains of the Colombian Orinoquia. These objectives are achieved through the implementation of conservation and climate change mitigation activities that reduce the threat factors on natural ecosystems and their biodiversity, minimizing the environmental pressures that cause habitat loss.

At the social level CO2Bio ensures that local landowners receive economic incentives that contribute to their quality of life and promote sustainable rural development as an alternative to agricultural expansion in the region.

It is a program that gives the customer the option to offset their charter flights. Depending on the number of passengers, type of aircraft and route, the carbon footprint can be calculated.

This calculated carbon footprint can only be compensated by the CO2Bio project in Colombia.

To compensate the carbon footprint of your charters contact your account executive and you will be able to compensate it directly at the time of quoting your charter flight.

By making the compensation, which goes directly to the CO2Bio Project in Colombia, you will be able to obtain a certificate in the name of the corporate client.
