After-sales management
Learn how to manage voluntary ticket changes, purchase cancellations and refunds through LATAM Corporate, subject to fare conditions.
Voluntary changes
How to change the date, origin or destination of a ticket from the portal.
Changes requested through the portal can only be managed by the order purchaser or a user with an administrator profile on the company account.
Ticket changes can also be managed through the Contact Center for companies. Availability and conditions depend on the fare rules of the ticket purchased.
- Go to Order management and select the order you want to change.
- Select Change ticket.
- Choose whether to change only the date, or the origin and destination too.
- Select the segment or segments you want to change and enter the new trip details.
- Review the change summary and the amount due, if any.
- Confirm and pay for the change.
Depending on the fare conditions, the change may carry a penalty and a fare difference between the new fare and what was originally paid.
Once the change is confirmed, you can see the updated booking in Order management and download the matching CUV.
LATAM Group is not responsible for issues that may arise during the ticket change process through the LATAM Corporate Portal. Corporate users are responsible for ensuring that the process is completed correctly.
Cancel a purchase
Conditions and step-by-step for canceling an order on the same day it was issued.
Only the person who purchased the order or the account administrator can request cancellation directly from the portal. The following conditions apply:
- It can be done until 11:59 p.m. on the same day the order was issued.
- The option appears 3 hours after issuance.
- You can't cancel the purchase if the passenger has already checked in.
To cancel a purchase
- Log in to LATAM Corporate.
- Select Order management in the main menu.
- Find the order you want to cancel.
- If the order meets the conditions, select Cancellation.
- Confirm the request.
If you try to cancel less than 3 hours after issuance, or after check-in, the portal will tell you the request isn't available.
If you need to cancel the check-in, you can do that here.
Ticket refunds
How to request a ticket refund, based on the conditions of the fare you bought.
You can request a ticket refund through the LATAM Corporate Portal or through the Contact Center for companies. Like changes, refunds may carry a refund fee. Whether a refund is possible at all, and on what terms, depends on the fare you bought and the fare rules that apply to it.
Same-day cancellation is available only for tickets purchased through the LATAM Corporate Portal. When permitted by the fare conditions, cancellation provides a full refund of the amount paid. Tickets purchased on previous days are not eligible for cancellation through the portal.
How to request it in the portal
Refunds requested through the portal can only be managed by the order purchaser or a user with an administrator profile on the company account.
- Go to Order management and select the order you want to work on.
- Select Ticket refund.
- Review the refund calculation, the estimated amount and the payment method it will go back to.
- Open the refund detail and check the information.
- Select Request refund.
The refund amount depends on the conditions of the fare purchased. Once you send the request, the refund goes into processing and the buyer of the order gets an email.
Where the money goes
| How the refund was requested | Where it's credited |
|---|---|
| Credit card | The amount is refunded to the same credit card. |
| Credit line | The amount is credited back to the company’s credit line. |
| LATAM Wallet | The balance is returned to the same Wallet. |
Swipe the table sideways to see all the information.
Exceptions: if the credit card provider (acquirer) does not allow the refund, or when a purchase of ancillary services (ANC) is changed, the amount is refunded to LATAM Wallet.
Add-on fares may have their own cancellation and refund policies. Check the conditions for each service before you buy. If the booking is canceled or changed, extra charges may apply or the refund may be partial, depending on the policies in place.
