Cost centers allow companies to organize, allocate and monitor expenses associated with different areas, departments or projects within Corporate Booking, making it easier to control and track their purchases.
A cost center is a name you give to a project or a department so you can tell apart the payments made with your card or credit line. You choose the name.
How to create a cost center
- Go to Cost centers from the main dashboard.
- Select Create cost center.
- Enter the name you want to identify it by.
- Select the users who will be allowed to make purchases.
- Confirm to create it.
The creation, editing, disabling and assignment of users to cost centers are the sole responsibility of the corporate account’s Authorized Administrator. You can add new users from Users and roles, and edit or disable cost centers from that same menu.
Likewise, the LATAM Corporate Partner is responsible for managing the association of cost centers with its credit lines and administering access permissions, ensuring that their configuration and use comply with the company’s internal policies.
If you have a credit line and want to add a new UATP card to a specific cost center, send an email to grp_atencionempresas@sac.latam.com.
LATAM Group and its subsidiaries shall not be liable for issues arising from the creation, editing or disabling of cost centers, or from the improper assignment or use of access rights associated with those centers and their users.
